Overview

To provide comprehensive administrative support for Human Resources operations, with a primary focus on recruitment, contract administration, and employee lifecycle management. The role ensures efficient, compliant, and timely processing of HR-related activities, including onboarding, offboarding, contract renewals, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders for all employee categories (full-time, part-time, and grant-funded staff) and their eligible family members.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for Faculty, Staff, and Research Assistant recruitment processes, including coordination, documentation, approvals, and follow-up.
  • Support contract issuance, renewal, amendments, and related HR documentation in coordination with relevant units.
  • Manage employee onboarding processes, including medical check-ups, visa, immigration, residency, housing, bank and phone accounts, driver’s licenses, and other required services.
  • Assist new employees in settling in Al Ain, UAE, including support with utilities (water and electricity), traffic police requirements, and other local administrative procedures.
  • Support employee offboarding and clearance processes in compliance with institutional policies.
  • Provide general administrative support for HR-related matters and serve as a point of contact for employees on HR administrative procedures.
  • Act as a backup for the College HR Coordinator to ensure continuity of HR operations.
  • Serve as a member of the UAEU Housing Committee.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
