About the Client

Role Overview

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records preparing reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can leverage technology to enhance financial accuracy streamline reporting and support strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Lead mentor and develop the accounting team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA ACCA CMA or equivalent) required.
• 10 years of progressive accounting experience including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in strategic financial planning and budgeting.
• Experience in implementing ERP and automation solutions.
• Experience with compliance and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in the development and construction of building sectors and villa compounds.
