Job summary

A leading multinational company in Dubai is seeking an experienced accountant to manage financial reporting, cash management, and compliance duties. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA certification, and a minimum of 3 years of UAE experience in an accounting role.   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and post accounting entries in the accounting system (IFS Accounting system)
  • Handle cash management including processing payments and receipts (petty cash, cheque, online bank transfers & payments)
  • File VAT Returns and related VAT reports and fulfill all regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with suppliers, banks, and auditors (both internal and external)
  • Manage payroll payment processing
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities and financial reports
  • Coordinate and provide financial reporting to the parent company abroad
  • Maintain robust accounting controls during payment processing, transaction recording, and recommend policies and procedures where needed
  • Analyze and summarize account information to facilitate effective decision-making for management
  • Undertake additional accounting tasks as required
  • Support other administrative tasks as directed by staff requirements
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (required)
  • Minimum 3 years’ UAE experience in accounting
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities to thrive in a multi-cultural environment
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, with preferred skills such as attention to detail, deadline-driven, time management, adaptability, and flexibility
