A marine service provider in Dubai is seeking an individual to support the Chief Engineer in daily operations within the engine room. This role involves supervising the maintenance of vital machinery and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position is critical to maintaining efficient and safe operations aboard the vessel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Engineer in daily engine room operations.
• Supervise maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries, pumps, and generators.
• Ensure proper watchkeeping and engine room safety.
• Maintain PMS records, engine logbooks, and checklists.
• Monitor fuel, lube oil, and machinery performance.
• Supervise engine ratings and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS, and Company SMS.
• Support inspections, repairs, and emergency drills.
