A professional NPO is seeking a Professional Assistant in Johannesburg to provide high-level administrative and operational support to Group Managers. The role requires strong organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and assisting with project coordination. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. This permanent position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience in operational, facilities management, human resources, or non-profit environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for Group Managers.
  • Draft, proofread, and manage correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items from meetings.
  • Assist in tracking and coordinating projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between Group Managers and stakeholders.
  • Streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency within departments.
  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Assist with coordinating events and special projects.
  • Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making.
