Assistant Group Financial Manager
Job summary
A leading recruitment agency seeks an Assistant Group Financial Manager in Tzaneen. The role involves managing financial control systems, overseeing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Candidates must have a BCom in Accounting, completed articles, and preferably 3 years of financial accounting experience in the agricultural industry.
Qualifications
- BCom Accounting at a reputable tertiary institution.
- Completed articles.
- Advantageous: 3 years financial accounting experience preferably in agriculture.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial control systems and reporting on financials.
- Oversee day-to-day processing and reconciliations.
- Plan budgets and monitor results versus budgets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial principles, accounting standards and procedures.
- Financial control systems, reporting on financials & analysis thereof.
- M.S. Office, e-filing, accounting software systems i.e.
- Pastel/ other accounting systems.
- Payroll systems and statutory requirements.
- Day-to-day processing and reconciliations.
- Budget planning and monitoring of actual results versus budgets.
- Managing financial team.
Requirements:
