A leading independent schooling provider is seeking a part-time Sports Coach – Head of Rugby to lead and develop the rugby program at their school. Responsibilities include team recruitment, player conditioning, and coordinating fixtures while ensuring alignment with school standards. This is a part time, permanent position. The hours of work during the school day will be flexible, in so far that all non-coaching duties are completed, and taking into account that there is an expectation to run early morning gym sessions, starting at 06:00 and, at varying times in the year, coaching sessions may only finish at 18:00.

The Head of Rugby is responsible for leading, administering, and developing the rugby program (both 15-man and Sevens rugby), ensuring alignment with the school’s ethos, vision, and sporting standards. The role includes strategic planning, team recruitment, staff management, gym management, and championing both player conditioning and rugby culture throughout the high school.
