Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in indirect tax and at least 2 years in a senior role.
• In-depth knowledge of South African VAT legislation, excise duties, and other relevant tax laws.
• Experience in managing tax audits and liaising with tax authorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of indirect tax compliance, strategy, and risk management.
• Ensure timely preparation, filing, and payment of VAT, customs, and environmental taxes.
• Oversee reconciliation processes for indirect tax accounts.
