A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced HV and Grid Electrical Engineer with utility-scale solar PV experience for a 36-month project in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in HV | MV utility-scale projects, compliance with South African Grid Code, and direct Eskom interface experience. This role offers a lucrative, negotiable salary package and is on-site across six locations in North West, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo.

• Oversee electrical engineering tasks throughout the contract.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 10 years’ Electrical experience, preferably in HV | MV utility-scale projects
• South African Grid Code compliance experience essential
• Direct Eskom interface experience essential
• Advantageous:
  • NRS 097
  • Protection coordination experience
  • HV/MV substation integration exposure
• NDip | BTech | BSc Electrical Engineering Degree required
• On-site position at one of 6 sites in the North West | Mpumalanga | Limpopo
• Contract for 36 Months with the possibility of being extended
• Valid Driver's License and own Transport required
• Contactable references and payslips required
