A community-focused healthcare provider in Prescott, AZ seeks a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of service for patients. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and managing financial information. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and basic computer skills, with preference given to those with prior medical office experience. This role is fully remote after an initial week of onsite training. Competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.03.
Preferred candidate resides in Arizona due to a one week mandatory onsite training in Prescott, AZ. This is a fully remote position after the training period.
The Medical Receptionist is the first point of service for our patients coming into the practice and is responsible for greeting, registering and scheduling patient appointments. They verify insurance eligibility and benefits, collect co‑payments, obtain routine financial information from various sources to arrange payment plans and Medicare coverage, answer the phone, and serve as a primary source of information to patients in the waiting area.
