Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in/out patients, schedules appointments, and maintains lobby organization.
• Acts as gatekeeper for PCP and Specialist schedules and coordinates top patient appointments every 13 days.
• Uses computer systems to update patient information, print forms, respond to emails, and prepare new patient packets.
• Answers phones, takes messages, and directs inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Verifies patient insurance, collects copays, and coordinates follow-ups and in-house referrals.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure comfort; support HEDIS-related activities and reporting as needed.
• Transmits correspondence by mail or electronic means; maintain confidentiality of personal and medical information.
