Job summary

Winning Assistants is seeking a Medical Receptionist & Patient Scheduling Virtual Assistant to support a healthcare practice remotely. You will be the first contact for patients, handling calls, scheduling, and authorization processing.

Ideal candidates have healthcare exposure, strong communication, and the ability to manage high call volumes with care for patient confidentiality. This is a part-time, remote role with HIPAA training provided.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with medical practice operations is desirable.
• Ability to handle high call volume while multitasking with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient phone support with prompt, professional communication.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Process and submit prior authorization requests and track status.
• Log patient names daily and report to client at day end.
• Assist with general administrative tasks and HIPAA-compliant privacy practices.
