We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join a small, collaborative legal office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career or with a few years of experience in a legal, administrative, or client-facing role. • Serve as the face of the office by managing the front desk, greeting guests, and maintaining a professional environment
• Support attorneys and team members with day-to-day administrative and legal tasks
• Manage complex and ever-changing calendars, including scheduling meetings, travel, and events
• Handle e-filing in state and federal courts, track deadlines, and assist with trial preparation
• Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and memoranda
• Coordinate depositions, prepare hearing materials, and support trial logistics
• Process expense reports and manage incoming/outgoing communications
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and support overall team goals

• Comprehensive knowledge of plaintiff personal injury litigation, including court practices, procedures, and deadlines in both state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in e-filing, docketing deadlines, trial preparation, and calendaring deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
• Strong work ethic with a proactive approach, sound judgment, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding legal environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel as needed.

• Minimum of 3+ years as a litigation legal secretary.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in E-Filing
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including document formatting, minimum typing speed of 55+ words per minute.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
