Administrative Assistant (Personal Injury Law Firm)

Our growing lasse personal injury law firm is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to be the backbone of our daily operations. This role is idealSPEC for someone who enjoys legal administration, financial organization, and light marketing coordination—all while delivering exceptional client service.
What You’ll Do
As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and staff
- Answering and directing phone calls, managing messages, and responding to inquiries professionally
- Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Drafting, editing, and organizing legal correspondence, pleadings, and summaries of medical records
- Maintaining accurate physical and electronic client files
- Performing data entry and updating internal databases and case management systems
- Assisting with project coordination and tracking follow-up items
- Handling basic bookkeeping tasks (QuickBooks experience preferred)
- Managing and assisting with social media posting and engagement, and serving as a point of contact between the digital marketing team and the firm owner
- Providing outstanding customer service to clients, vendors, and internal team members
What We’re Looking For
- B.S. or B.A. from in-person attendance at a traditional 4‑year university is required
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Clio or other legal practice management software is a plus
- QuickBooks or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort using office equipment and phone systems
- A proactive, dependable team player with strong attention to detail

Additional Details
- Schedule: 8‑hour shifts, in-person position
- Location: Baton Rouge, LA. Salary: $12.00–$15.00 an hour
