Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional team of SDETs ensuring quality and reliability across Cribl products. The role is hands-on, shaping test strategy from design to release and driving quality standards with agentic workflows.

You will partner with product and engineering leadership to implement robust automation, CI/CD, observability, and release practices for SaaS and customer-managed deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing testing strategy and quality metrics for SaaS and customer-managed deployments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agentic development requirements.
• Expertise in test architecture, automation, CI/CD and release management.

Responsibilities

• Own quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate data-driven metrics.
• Lead test automation improvements, CI stability, and defect prevention.
• Optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity; remove bottlenecks.
• Foster a customer-first mindset; analyze failures to reduce testing gaps.
• Partner with PM and Eng Mgmt to ensure quality from design.
• Coach and grow a remote-first team of SDETs.
