Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional team of SDETs, ensuring quality is built into the SDLC. You’ll drive testing strategy from design to release with agentic workflows and partner with product and engineering to set high standards.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong expertise in test architecture, automation, and observability, with 10+ years in industry and 4+ years in leadership. Competitive salary and equity are offered.

Qualifications

• BS CS/EE or equivalent practical experience with 10+ years in the industry, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience in establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for SaaS and customer managed environments.
• Strong understanding of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization of the team's roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and escape-rate reduction.
