Cribl, the AI telemetry platform, is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote‑first SDET team responsible for quality and reliability across Cribl products. This hands‑on leadership role emphasizes building quality into the software development lifecycle, defining test strategies, and driving agentic workflows from design to release.

You will partner with product and engineering, coach a distributed team, and advance test automation, CI stability, and release management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC and agentic development.
• Strong understanding of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with AI‑developed tests and workflows.
• 10+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and escape-rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by closing the testing gap with deployments.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote-first team of exceptional test engineers.
