Cribl, the AI platform for telemetry, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional team of SDETs responsible for quality and reliability across Cribl products. This hands-on leadership role ensures quality is built in from design to release with agentic workflows.

You will drive test strategy, metrics, and automation, partner with product and engineering managers, mentor a distributed team, and guide end-to-end pipelines to improve velocity and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for products deployed in SaaS and customer-managed environments.
• Thorough understanding of the SDLC and agentic development requirements.
• Strong grasp of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.
• BS CS/EE or equivalent with 10+ years in industry, including 4+ years in technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization of the team's roadmap.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and escape-rate reduction.
• Continuously optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for people and agentic workflows.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by closing the testing gap with deployments.
• Establish strong partnership with product management and engineering managers to ensure quality from the start.
• Coach, mentor, and grow a remote-first team of test engineers focused on agentic workflows.
