Cribl is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional team of SDETs responsible for the quality and reliability of all Cribl products. This hands-on leadership role focuses on building quality into the software lifecycle, designing test strategies from design to release, and driving agentic workflows.

You will collaborate with product management and engineering leaders to ensure quality is embedded from the start, coach a remote team, and push for automation,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics.
• Understanding of SDLC and agentic development.
• Experience with test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, root-cause analysis.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own quality strategy across Cribl products and drive data-driven roadmap decisions.
• Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, and root-cause analysis.
• Optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity; remove bottlenecks for teams.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by aligning testing with deployments.
• Coach and grow a remote-first team of test engineers.
