Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team in a fully remote role, available anywhere in the United States but aligned with East Coast hours.

You will support administration, security, monitoring, and end-user assistance across the Microsoft 365 environment, delivering reliable services and user enablement while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities in IT/Cloud environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, security, and user support.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
• Troubleshoot end-user issues and provide timely SLA-driven support.
• Maintain incidents, requests, and problem records in the Service Management platform.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation for admin tasks.
• Use Microsoft Graph and APIs to automate processes across M365 services.
• Monitor health, security alerts, and usage to optimize performance.
• Create documentation, reports, and dashboards for operations.
