Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our team. This is a fully remote position and may be based anywhere in the United States, but must be able to work East Coast hours.

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise in the Microsoft 365 environment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support. The role focuses on administration, troubleshooting, security, monitoring, reporting, and user enablement across Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience in IT/administration.
• Strong Microsoft 365 expertise with Exchange, Teams, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and related collaboration technologies.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve a wide range of technical issues for end users, providing timely and effective support while meeting SLAs.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to streamline Microsoft 365 administration, reporting, and workflows.
• Manage user identities, roles, permissions, and access controls within Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Monitor security, changes, and compliance within the Microsoft 365 environment.
