Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a detail‑oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our team. This fully remote role can be based anywhere in the United States, but requires East Coast hours.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills and deep knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment to deliver reliable support and system administration. This role focuses on administration, troubleshooting, security, monitoring, reporting, documentation, and user enablement, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to apply technical expertise to resolve problems.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently; ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues for end users; meet SLAs.
• Document incidents, service requests, and problems in the Service Management platform; follow Change Management processes.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours support of high‑priority incidents.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation for administration, reporting, and workflows across M365 services.
