Placements24 seeks a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our remote team, driving growth and expanding market reach across sectors. You will identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and generate new revenue streams while working from home.

You will analyze markets, generate leads, and engage with senior decision-makers. The role requires self-discipline, excellent communication, and a proven ability to close complex deals, with a competitive base salary plus

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related strategic growth role.
• Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities.
• Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong networking abilities with senior executives.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with the Gauteng market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue.
• Develop and execute growth strategies for target markets.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and growth areas.
• Generate qualified leads through proactive outreach and networking.
• Build relationships with prospective clients and key stakeholders.
• Present value propositions and solutions to partners and clients.
• Negotiate and close deals aligned to profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams for onboarding and execution.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly BD targets.
• Provide reports on pipeline, activities, and market intelligence to management.
• Represent the company at events to boost brand visibility.
• Refine BD approaches based on industry best practices.
