Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Remote Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to oversee configuration, testing, and post-cut support for on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions. The role involves extensive travel (US and international) and collaboration with customers and partners to ensure successful deployments.

Responsibilities include site verification, cloud connectivity, and documentation of configurations, with emphasis on cloud migrations and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering/IT degree and 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• Experience deploying/integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications are a plus (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions on-site and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment to production.
• Document changes, cloud tenants, and API integrations during implementation.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments.
• Maintain SME knowledge of cloud-native public safety tech.
