Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Remote Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to implement, test, and support ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. You will manage configuration, connectivity, and integration tasks for customers and partners.

The role requires 5+ years in an engineering/technical setting, strong cloud and virtualization skills, and travel up to 75% within the US and internationally. A U.S. passport is preferred for international travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering/technical environment.
• Experience deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting, including connectivity and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Perform system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configure and troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Document changes including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensure timely resolution of installation and quality issues.
• Develop and approve methods of procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participate in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
