Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to oversee configurations, testing, and cutover for ECH solutions, including on-premise and cloud-hosted deployments. Remote role with extensive travel (US and international).

You will configure, test, and support cloud integrations while ensuring quality and timely issue resolution. The role requires 5+ years in technical environments, cloud/telecom familiarity, and US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering or technical environment.
• Experience deploying/integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications are a plus (AWS/Azure).
• Public safety applications deployment experience preferred.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Conducts site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between on-site and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenant configurations and integrations.
• Resolves install/quality issues promptly.
• Participates in MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Supports pre-contract oral presentations and negotiations as needed.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
