Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead on-site configuration, testing, and post-cut support for cloud-hosted and on-premise ECH solutions across US sites. This remote role requires heavy travel and collaboration with customers and partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience in engineering or technical deployments, strong cloud and network skills, and a US passport for international travel. The role offers a competitive base salary and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology is required.
5+ years in engineering/technical deployment or integration.
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure) are a plus.
Experience with virtualization, server OS, networking, and security a must.
Ability to obtain security clearance as required.

Responsibilities

Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
Conducts site verification tests before production readiness.
Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
Provides customer and partner support during deployment.
Documents changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
Participates in MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
Engages in pre-contract presentations and negotiations as needed.
Maintains SME skills in cloud-native public safety technologies.
