Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead deployment, testing, and post-cut support for ECH solutions on-premises and cloud-hosted. This remote role requires extensive travel across the US and internationally.

You will configure systems, verify sites, troubleshoot connectivity, document changes, and contribute to cloud migrations while maintaining SME skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology required.
• 5+ years in deployment/integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions on-site and in cloud environments.
• Perform site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Support customers and partners during deployment and production rollout.
• Document changes to configurations and integrations for projects.
• Assist in cloud migration methods and system upgrades.
• Engage in pre-contract discussions and customer negotiations as needed.
• Maintain expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
