Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Inside Channel/Partner Systems Engineer to support channel partners across the US, operating primarily as a remote/teleworker role with West Coast hours.

You will act as a technical advisor across switching, wireless, routing, security, and AI-native networking, delivering end-to-end solution design, technical validation, and enablement to grow partners’ HPE Networking practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of networking systems engineering experience, presales/sales engineering or partner-facing role.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, or supporting enterprise campus, branch, and data center networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop the technical competency and sales readiness of smaller partners.
• Provide remote technical presales support throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
• Help partners qualify opportunities early so they spend their time on deals they can win.
• Assist with discovery, architecture, product selection, sizing, and configuration.
• Review solution designs, bills of materials, and technical proposals.
• Teach partners how to build their own bills of materials, configurations, and reference designs.
