Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Inside Channel/Partner Systems Engineer to support West Coast partners. You will act as a technical advisor across switching, wireless, routing, security, and AI‑native networking, delivering end-to-end solution design, validation, and customer engagement.

You will enable smaller partners, run remote presales activities, and collaborate with channel teams to grow HPE Networking adoption. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of networking systems engineering, ideally presales or partner-facing.
• Hands-on design/deploy experience for enterprise networks.
• Channel partners/resellers/distributors experience preferred.
• Experience supporting commercial/SLED markets preferred.
• Experience delivering demos or PoCs.

Responsibilities

• Develop partner technical competency and sales readiness.
• Provide remote presales support throughout opportunities.
• Qualify opportunities early to focus on winnable deals.
• Assist with discovery, architecture, sizing, and configuration.
• Review designs, BOMs, and technical proposals.
• Teach partners to build BOMs, configurations, and reference designs.
• Answer questions on SKUs, licensing, and ordering; enable remote demos.
• Deliver webinars, demonstrations, and enablement sessions.
• Position HPE Networking against competitors.
• Support customer presentations, demos, and PoCs.
• Identify partner capability gaps and training paths.
• Develop reusable technical resources and reference designs.
• Collaborate with Partner Account Managers to plan enablement.
