Travelers is seeking an Outside Auto Appraiser to inspect vehicle damage, estimate repair costs, and settle total losses. This remote role requires technical auto damage appraisal expertise and the ability to work independently with customers and shops.

You will review estimates, perform inspections, and use industry tools to determine ACV and negotiate settlements while delivering excellent service throughout the claim lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active adjuster license where applicable.
• Two years of auto physical damage appraisal experience.
• Proficient in claims management and estimating software; advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage via on-site or virtual inspections.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates using standard estimating software.
• Evaluate and settle vehicle total losses via actual cash value methods.
• Negotiate repair costs and settlements with shops, customers, and third parties.
• Explain the appraisal process and keep vehicle owners informed throughout the claim lifecycle.
