The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking an Outside Auto Appraiser to inspect vehicle damage, estimate repair costs, and determine actual cash value for total losses. You will work remotely with occasional site visits, supporting claim staff and customers with clear, timely guidance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of auto appraisal experience, a valid adjuster license, and proficiency in claims management and estimating software, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and active adjuster license.
• Two years of auto physical damage appraisal experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with claims management and estimating software; advanced Microsoft Office and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage through on-site or virtual inspections at body shops or locations.
• Review estimates, collaborate with repair facilities for accuracy and quality.
• Determine actual cash value and settlements; negotiate with shops and customers to conclude claims.
