A leading e-commerce platform in Singapore is seeking a seasoned professional to lead fraud risk management. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in Strategic Risk Management or Fraud Operations with a strong focus on high-volume digital transactions. You will oversee fraud operations and develop risk policies to enhance the platform's safety. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and prior experience in managing high-performing teams. This position offers a dynamic work environment and opportunities for strategic influence.
The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
Job Description:
Shopee’s Regional Fraud team is responsible for governing marketplace risk and assurance, and dedicated to ensuring a safe, trustworthy, and high-quality experience for users and sellers across all markets. We focus on building robust systems, policies, and rules to protect our ecosystem while ensuring a seamless user experience. In this role, you will tackle a wide range of fraud risks from payments to seller onboarding - helping maintain credibility and safety across the platform.
