We are looking for a reliable and meticulous individual to support field data collection for ongoing price surveys. The role involves visiting various establishments across Singapore to collect, verify, and record price information that contributes to national statistics and policy work.

We are looking for a reliable and meticulous individual to support field data collection for ongoing price surveys. The role involves visiting various establishments across Singapore to collect, verify, and record price information that contributes to national statistics and policy work.

• Collect price data from selected establishments such as wet markets, hawker centres, and retail outlets.

• Clarify and verify survey returns with respondents to ensure data accuracy.

• Check and confirm item details on price boards or lists (including those printed in Chinese).

• Perform data entry and editing of survey information using tablets or computers.

• Support general administrative and documentation tasks related to survey operations.

• Able to read and speak English fluently.

• Able to converse in Mandarin to obtain information and identify items from Chinese-language price lists.

• Knowledge of Chinese dialects (e.g. Hokkien, Cantonese) will be an advantage.

• Comfortable using tablet devices and browsing the internet to source or verify price information.

• Meticulous, responsible, and willing to perform on-site fieldwork across different locations.
