Job summary
A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee on-site activities, manage project planning, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate has strong decision-making skills and knowledge of construction regulations. This role offers a dynamic work environment with diverse responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.
- Develop project plans, track progress, and report on achievements to managers.
- Ensure work meets standards and specifications by conducting site inspections and enforcing all safety and building regulations.
- Liaise with other professionals like architects and engineers, and coordinate with vendors for materials and equipment.
- Manage project finances and ensure the work is completed according to schedule and within budget.
- Keep clients and stakeholders informed of project updates and any issues that arise.
