Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager with a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of experience with main contractors for project management or site coordination in building or civil projects. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience for Main Contractor in project management and/or site coordination works for building or civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit materials and shop drawings to consultants for approval.
• Manage and liaise with M&E subcontractor on work progress.
• Monitor and supervise work progression and ensure safety regulations.
• Work with the Project Manager to prepare necessary documentation.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• To prepare and submit materials and shop drawings to consultants for approval.
• Manage and liaise with M&E subcontractor on M&E work progress on schedule.
• To monitor and supervise work progression, quality control and ensure that safety regulation is observed and attend all project meetings and progress meetings relating to meeting master program schedule
• Work closely with the Project Manager and/or Engineer to prepare Work Method Statement, Risk Assessment and related documentation for the client when requested
• Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with requirements
• Compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations.
• Any other duties assigned
