Laboratory Technician
Job summary
A waste management company located in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support technical development projects and maintain laboratory inventory. Key duties include assisting with analysis, maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper documentation. The ideal candidate should hold a relevant diploma and possess good analytical and communication skills. The role offers a monthly salary ranging from $2,500 to $2,800, along with transport allowances and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities
- Assist chemist in technical development projects.
- Purchase lab items and maintain inventory of laboratory facilities.
- Conduct laboratory analysis and prepare reports.
Skills
Education
- To assist chemist in technical development project.
- To purchase lab items and maintain the inventory of all laboratory facilities/equipment.
- To conduct laboratory analysis and reporting.
- To check, record and report on the inventory of all laboratory supplies.
- To carry out calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment as per schedule or instructed.
- To ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory.
- To follow the existing system and documentation as per the procedures.
- To update the relevant records.
- To work harmoniously with colleagues in the same department and other department.
- Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology, or equivalent.
- Working experience in lab environment is an added advantage.
- Good analytical abilities and communication skills.
- Basic: $2,500 – $2,800
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm); Saturday (8am – 12pm)
- Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if candidate manages own transport
- Sign-on Bonus (Terms & Conditions apply)
