Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Assistant Reservations Manager, the Reservations Executive is directly responsible for handling telephone enquiries, accepting reservations, and inputting the information into the computer system.
  • Work closely with all Front Office and Sales colleagues, providing lead advice and constant “feedback” concerning both enquiries and firm reservations.
  • Assists in maximizing the hotel’s occupancy potential, whilst protecting the hotel’s business mix.
  • Maintain a professional yet friendly business manner in all guest and client interactions, both personally and in correspondence and on the telephone.
  • Guide and train the Reservations Agent.

Requirements

  • Secondary education

  • Able to multi-task and detail oriented
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Able to work shift, weekends and public holidays
  • Competent in MS Office applications.
