As a Professional Software Engineer, you will work with highly skilled and experienced engineers who uphold the highest standards.

Your projects will not only solve customer problems but also deliver added value that defines all Adnovum’s software solutions. Your main task will be to analyze and understand customer and project requirements and develop new solution features according to a defined roadmap in a timely manner.

You will be:

• Part of project teams with typically 5 to 20 members across different locations
• Analyzing functional and technical solution requirements and participating in writing solution specifications
• Developing new features according to a roadmap, meeting quality and performance standards
• Maintaining applications, performing code and application upgrades

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of hands-on Java experience

Proficiency in:

• Java/Java EE
• Spring framework (Spring Boot, Security, Batch, Integration)
• API development

Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles

Interest in agile development, TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps automation

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience in multi-tier architecture, communication protocols, authentication, and authorization protocols, Docker, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift

Experience in microservices development

Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.js

Excellent English skills, both spoken and written

Effective listening and team interaction skills

Proactive, creative, and solution-oriented mindset

Strong team player with proactive communication skills

Additional qualifications/experience are a plus:

• Experience in public sectors, finance, or logistics projects
• Implementation of BPMS and system integrations
• Cloud hosting and SaaS integrations (AWS, Azure)
• Linux server administration
• Shell scripting or Python
