Job summary
A supply chain company in Singapore seeks a Procurement Buyer to manage sourcing, evaluate suppliers, and ensure compliance with procurement policies. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in procurement and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office is required for this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement as a Buyer.
- Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced shared services environment.
- Ability to work in a dynamic shared services environment.
Responsibilities
- Procure goods, materials, components or services meeting specified targets.
- Conduct sourcing/competitive quotations for best value.
- Negotiate and award orders to selected suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Achieve Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Resolve price, quality, and delivery issues.

- Procure goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Conduct sourcing/competitive quotation so as to ensure that the best value is achieved for the company
- Evaluate, negotiate and award orders to selected supplier
- Ensure that goods and services are timely delivered
- Achieve the Service Level Agreements (SLA) of Shared Services Centre (SSC)
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures
- Resolve all price, quality, and delivery or invoice issues
- Build, maintain and manage relationships of both internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement efforts on work process efficiency
- Diploma in Business Administration/ Procurement/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- At least two (2) years of experience in Procurement as a Buyer
- SAP Hands-on and Microsoft Office experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication & planning skills
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced shared services environment
