Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Network Operations & Maintenance professional to ensure high availability of LAN/WAN networks and support troubleshooting activities. The successful candidate will lead network projects, maintain documentation, and provide operational support. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies and a Diploma in IT are required. Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in network operations, administration, or management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls and network devices.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the high availability and reliability of LAN/WAN networks.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for network-related incidents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation.
- Lead or support network infrastructure projects and upgrades.
Skills
Education
- Ensure the high availability and reliability of LAN/WAN networks through continuous monitoring, performance analysis, and optimization.
- Manage and maintain network hardware and software inventory in accordance with internal standards.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for network-related incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Commission, decommission, and refresh network devices in alignment with technology lifecycle requirements and compliance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and contribute to best-practice enhancements.
- Lead or support network infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Work closely with vendors to evaluate solutions, manage deliverables, and ensure service quality.
- Provide on‑call support for production and operational environments as part of a scheduled duty roster.
- Minimum Diploma in Information Technology
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in network operations, administration, or management.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, and OSPF.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, core/distribution switches, routers, and LAN/WAN environments.
- Experience with Zscaler, Check Point, or Palo Alto firewalls will be an advantage.
