UOB Private Bank
is dedicated to managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals with investment assets of $5million and above. Keeping in mind our clients’ financial objectives, we provide tailored products and solutions that draw on the Group’s comprehensive suite of personal, business and investment services.

The successful candidate will be part of the Private Bank Middle Office Security Settlement team providing middle office trade settlement support for security transactions and all other settlement related activities. These activities include:

1. Liaison with Back Office and counter parties to ensure accurate and timely settlement of security transactions.
2. Validate security transactions in PB system prior to instructing processing units.
3. Communicate settlement discrepancies/exceptions to Front Office, Back Office and relevant parties including providing instructions and guidance on proper resolution of issue.
4. Reconcile cash and security positions with internal and external counter parties on a daily basis and ensure timely resolution of any discrepancy.
5. Coordinating with internal and external parties to process client’s portfolio transfer instructions involving different asset classes.
6. Dissemination of corporate action notifications from custodians and ensuring timely receipt of response from Front Office.
7. Maintenance of static data of securities in PB system.
8. Providing assistance and advice on security settlement subject matters.
9. Assisting Team Lead in providing day to day management oversight over a sub team.

1. Degree in Business, Banking/Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
2. Minimum 5 years of securities settlement experience preferably in private bank, covering exchange traded instruments, fixed income, structured notes, unit trust, derivatives, corporate action and asset transfer.
3. Able to perform under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
4. Effective communication and analytical skills; with demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
5. Able to make sound and independent decisions in resolving issues.
6. Familiar with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
