A leading global financial institution is seeking to appoint a Vice President to lead its FX and Futures & Options (F&O) Operations team.
Responsibilities
This is a pivotal role responsible for managing the operational infrastructure that supports high-volume, cross-border FX and listed derivatives trading across global markets.
This individual will play a critical role in overseeing the end-to-end trade lifecycle for FX spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, and exchange-traded derivatives including futures and options. The VP will lead a team that ensures timely and accurate trade capture, confirmation, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation, while also maintaining strict adherence to global regulatory standards and internal risk controls.
Key to this role is the ability to operate in a dynamic, high-pressure trading environment where precision, responsiveness, and operational risk awareness are paramount. The successful candidate will act as a central liaison between trading desks, prime brokerage, clearing brokers, exchanges, technology teams, and external counterparties to resolve breaks, streamline processes, and deliver a frictionless post-trade experience.
A core part of this mandate will be driving operational efficiency, leveraging automation, and optimizing processes to scale with the firm's strategic growth in FX and listed derivatives. The VP will also support new product launches, market expansions, and regulatory change programs impacting trade reporting, margin requirements, and client asset protection.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of deep, hands-on experience in FX and F&O operations within a global bank, brokerage, or buy-side institution. Strong product knowledge across spot, forwards, futures, and options is essential, as is a proven ability to lead teams, manage risk, and influence across functions.
