In this role, you’ll be at the heart of shaping strategic execution, working closely with stakeholders to align projects with business goals, and building high-performing, collaborative teams. You’ll bring not just project management expertise, but also the leadership and vision to navigate complexity, manage risks, and deliver results that make a lasting impact. If you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and have a passion for delivering excellence in data center project management, this is your opportunity to step up and grow with us.

The role is open to be based in Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand. No relocation is required.

  • You will lead and motivate project teams to achieve key objectives and milestones effectively.
  • You will develop comprehensive project plans in partnership with the Project Controls department, covering all critical aspects.
  • You will manage project execution, ensuring adherence to Hitachi Energy policies and best practices throughout the lifecycle, monitor and control project financials, including invoices, expenses, and cash flow while managing associated risks and opportunities.
  • You will ensure all project activities comply with contractual agreements and Hitachi Energy policies, as needed, serve as the primary interface with customers and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and issue resolution.
  • You will ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy’s health, safety, and environmental policies within all project activities, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background:

  • You hold a degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing medium-sized projects including commercial, contractual and team leadership aspects.
  • Experience in Data Center projects is a strong advantage. PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proficient and deep understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and tools (e.g., MS Project), strong commercial and contractual acumen.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within APMEA as required for project execution.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
