Job summary
A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is looking for a medical professional to provide consultations, participate in quality improvement projects, and engage in teaching activities. Candidates must have a medical degree recognized by the Singapore Medical Council and at least 3 years of experience in a local healthcare setting. This role is pivotal in ensuring high standards of occupational health services.
Qualifications
- Must be in active clinical practice.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a local healthcare setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide walk-in and appointment consultations including pre-employment medical examinations.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and projects.
- Participate actively in teaching activities.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Department.
Skills
Education
- Provide walk-in and appointment consultations including pre-employment medical examinations, health screening, and management of service injuries in the Occupational Medicine Clinic. On some occasions, there may be a need to see common primary care cases (e.g., URTI).
- Participate in quality improvement activities and projects within the department or hospital.
- Participate actively in teaching activities.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Department, Division Chairman, and Chairman, Medical Board.
- Follow up on administrative matters.
- Must be in active clinical practice
- Possess a basic medical degree recognized by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a local healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work independently
