Senior Account Executive
Job summary
A finance company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage the full set of accounts, provide supervision to junior staff, and handle compliance with tax and audit requirements. The ideal candidate should have a degree in finance or accounting and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role of Senior Account Executive.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Agility to change and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of monthly accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and provide guidance to junior staff.
- Manage tax, audit, and regulatory matters.
Skills
Education
- To handle full set of monthly accounts including preparation of General Ledger, AP, Balance sheet, P&L, Bank Reconciliation and audit schedules.
- Monitor cash flow.
- Able to provide supervision and guidance to junior staff on daily operations.
- Perform quarterly and yearly tax submissions including GST and estimated tax computations.
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure intercompany balances tally across the books.
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
- Manage tax, audit, corporate secretarial or external regulatory matters and liaise with external parties as required.
- Take on lead roles in ad-hoc projects and activities assigned.
- A-Level/LCCI/ Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting/ACCA/CPA or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role of Senior Account Executive
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Agility to change, mature, independent, hands-on, able to work under stress and have a strong sense of responsibility
