Job summary

A logistics consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive responsible for managing and developing sales activities. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry and a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities include prospecting new clients, overseeing contract negotiations, and ensuring high-quality after-sales support. This role offers a Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:30 AM to 6 PM.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, prioritizing sales/business development.
  • Strong understanding of Healthcare, Semiconductor, Hi-Tech, Chemical, and FMCG markets.
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets.

Overview

The main primary responsibility will be growth. This role is to manage and develop sales activities within Singapore.


Responsibilities


  • Identify and prospect new business/clients via sales/cold-calling and sales activities.

  • Generate new sales leads, contract negotiation and sales closure.

  • Responsible for delivering expected sales revenue target and profitability.

  • Attend to customers feedback/ complaints and follow up with high-quality after sales services.

  • Act as the customers\' main point of contact, by liaising closely with the relevant departments to ensure that their queries, problems, or issues are dealt with appropriately.


Qualifications


  • Min 2 years of experiences across freight forwarding industry (experience in Sales / Business Development will be considered with priority).

  • Experience in Healthcare, Semiconductor, Hi-Tech, Chemical, FMCG/Consumer market will be considered with priority.

  • Sufficient knowledge in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea).

  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving sales target.

  • Strong business development skill with proven track record in hunting of new accounts.

  • Proper reporting in timely manner about sales activity

  • Have relevant experiences on operation work in Air or Ocean operation department would be at advantage.


Working hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am - 6pm
