The Role

Do you live and breathe visual storytelling? Are you passionate about capturing style, personality, and culture through your lens?

SPH Media’s Content & Solutioning Division – home to nine of Singapore’s leading lifestyle titles, as well as the international-award-winning content marketing agency, Content Lab – is looking for a creative, detail-oriented photographer/videographer to join our team.

You’ll produce editorial, branded, and social-first content that sets visual trends, sparks conversations, and influences audiences – across some of the country’s most influential lifestyle brands, including Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore, F ZINE, The Peak, ICON, Her World, Nuyou, and Home & Décor.

From fashion covers and editorial spreads, to social content and digital covers, to lifestyle campaigns, events, and branded storytelling, this role puts you at the centre of shaping impactful imagery and videos across multiple platforms and genres. You’ll collaborate closely with editors, art directors, stylists, and clients, turning creative concepts into compelling visual narratives.

• Create visuals that inspire: Capture high-quality photos and videos that align with each title’s editorial vision and brand identity.
• Lead the shoot: Collaborate with editors and art directors to conceptualise, plan, and execute shoots across studio, location, and event environments.
• Manage production end-to-end: Oversee location scouting, model casting, set styling, on-set direction, and deliver on deadlines.
• Craft the final story: Handle post-production editing, retouching, and colour grading to ensure output meets our creative and technical standards.
• Stay ahead of trends: Keep updated on visual, fashion, and social content trends to bring fresh ideas to shoots.
• Maintain gear & workflow: Manage equipment, ensure readiness, and maintain a smooth production process.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as a photographer/videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing fashion, product, lifestyle, and portrait work.
• Confident working in both studio and outdoor environments, balancing technical precision with creative flair.
• Competence in videography, including short-form social content, profile interviews, and event coverage.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, styling, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools: Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Collaborative and adaptable – comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams, stylists, editors, clients, and talent.
• Able to thrive under pressure, and manage tight deadlines and occasional after-hours or weekend shoots – we believe in balance, so time-off is provided when extra hours are needed.
