A leading crane and transport company in Singapore seeks a HSE Officer to implement and monitor workplace safety, health, and environmental policies. The role involves conducting safety inspections and audits, investigating incidents, and coordinating safety training. Candidates should have a WSQ Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level C) or its equivalent, along with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset are essential for this position.
Implement and monitor Workplace Safety, Health, and Environmental (WSHE) policies across all sites and subsidiaries.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate and deliver safety briefings, inductions, training sessions, and emergency evacuation drills.
Maintain and update HSSE documentation, including RA, MS, SWP, FPP, and Safe Work Procedures.
Prepare and submit monthly HSSE reports, statistics, and audit documentation.
Ensure readiness for safety audits and re-certifications through proper documentation and follow-ups.
Serve as an active member of the Emergency Response Team and Safety Committee.
Promote a strong safety culture through internal campaigns, alerts, and communication initiatives.
Support ongoing improvements to the company’s safety management system and risk management practices.
Minimum WSQ Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level C) or its equivalent.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar WSH role.
Attained WSQ WSH Management in Consruction Certificate.
Attained WSQ Supervise Safe Lifting Operations Certificate.
A proactive team player with a positive work attitude.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
