Job Summary
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the safe handling, storage, and movement of clients’ documents, household goods, and cartons within the warehouse and during transit. This role supports day‑to‑day warehouse operations by loading and unloading delivery vehicles, operating material handling equipment (including forklifts and scissor lifts), preparing items for storage or delivery, and ensuring inventory is accurately stored and retrieved. The position requires attention to safety, quality, productivity, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and scissor lifts to move, stack, and retrieve goods (certification required)
- Carry, lift, and move cartons and household goods manually when required
- Secure goods to pallets and prepare items for storage or transportation
- Transport inventory between storage locations and designated delivery or staging areas
- Store goods in assigned warehouse locations according to procedures
- Retrieve stored items accurately based on delivery or client requirements
- Ensure all goods are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse areas
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures at all times
- Report damaged goods, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Minimum secondary school education or equivalent
- Fresh graduates from ITE/Higher Nitec/diploma are welcome to apply
- Able to read, understand, and follow basic written and verbal instructions (English required)
- Possess basic computer proficiency, with experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and maintaining simple data records
Experience
2-3 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred. Prior experience handling household goods, documents, cartons, or stored inventory is an advantage. Experience loading and unloading delivery vehicles is preferred. Experience working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding warehouse environment.
Licences & Certifications
- Valid forklift licence (Singapore MOM–recognised)
- Scissor lift / Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) certification preferred or willingness to be trained
- Familiarity with safe material handling practices

- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, push, and pull boxes and goods
